Who are we?

In order to support both fine motor and cognitive development of our daughter Azra, who came into our lives in 2018, we decided to create a brand with the name of minishko toy, as we wanted other children to benefit from the educational toys we produced for her with our own ideas. According to the Montessori philosophy, which we have adopted and trained, human beings are responsible for the living and non-living things and the environment in the world. This sense of responsibility should be given to children especially from a young age and the child should be provided to grow up with this awareness.

For this reason, Montessori studies do not include scientific facts alone, they are always taught in connection with concepts such as nature, time, human, living, space and culture. In the light of this philosophy, we are two entrepreneurs who produce educational toys for children and do every stage of production with their own hands. Our goal is that what we produce contributes to life.

“Nature is the teacher of life. It is necessary to follow his path.” Maria Montessori

How Do We Choose Toys?

Montessori cosmic education studies deal with all issues related to nature. In addition, all subjects are transferred to children not only to learn but also to grow up with this sense of responsibility. The main purpose of cosmic education is the respect and order that should be shown towards the system of nature and all beings in the system. With cosmic education, the importance of nature is taught to children and it is aimed that they love nature. Thus, it tries to help children feel that they belong somewhere in the universe.

In Montessori cosmic education studies, the universe, galaxies, planets, our world, living species, animal and plant diversity and human being deal with and show the connection between them. In line with these studies, children develop a sense of love for all beings in nature and a sense of respect for the feelings and thoughts of others.

According to Montessori, when the love of the environment is cultivated in the child; The child is happy by understanding the order, beauty and harmony of nature.

We choose and produce our toys in the light of this information.

“From a very young age, we should not make children forget that the world we live on does not belong only to us, so we share them with other living things while using resources. Man should not forget the responsibility of being the smartest creature on the planet he lives on.” Maria Montessori
